The maintenance of guttering is essential to avoid both internal and external damp issues. Damp within the fabric of a building can be occurring for some time before there are visible signs of a damp problem. Externally there will be signs of biological matter on the surface and internally there will be decoration issues all leading to an undesirable appearance and possible structural problems in the future.
Ideally all guttering would be one part of a larger preventative maintenance plan. We are equipped to complete site surveys of your guttering to identify current and potential future problems. Where a blockage is discovered we can clear the build- up of debris to leave the water to run freely. This can be carried out as a one-off job or we can set up a regular service at agreed intervals.
This work is fully quoted after the initial site survey and a plan agreed to fit your requirements. Quite often the clearing and cleaning of guttering is complicated due to access difficulties or working at height. We are able to overcome all of these difficulties using our high reach extendable vacuum system which also helps with site health and safety requirements by reducing the risk of working at height. In more awkward to reach areas we are trained to operate access equipment in the form of mobile scaffold towers and MEWPS.
